Christiansburg, VA – Virginia 21PAC, a Political Action Committee representing thousands of  students and young voters across the Commonwealth of Virginia, declared their unanimous support for Delegate Dave Nutter in his bid for re-election.

"The decision to support your campaign for the 7th House district was unanimously approved by our student-led political committee," said Steven Jones, Executive Director of Virginia 21PAC, "we are prepared to work long and hard hours to ensure that you remain the Delegate for the 7th District." "Since the founding of Virginia21 I have worked closely with student leaders across Virginia to help improve support for higher education in Virginia and limit barriers to political participation.  Together we helped pass the Textbook Market Fairness Act, Community College Transfer grant program and made Tuition Assistance Grant (TAG) available to students attending the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg,” said Delegate Nutter
"Your commitment to opening the doors of higher education to all Virginians regardless of financial means, and your dedication to bringing good high-paying jobs for the Commonwealth's young adults won our support,” said Jones.
“Delegate Dave Nutter continues to receive support from a broad cross section of non-partisan organizations,” said Campaign Manager Mik Carpenter.  “These endorsements reflect his commitment to be a representative for all of the people of the New River Valley.  Delegate Nutter has been endorsed by the Virginia Education Association, the National Federation of Independent Businesses, Police Benevolent Association, and Farm Bureau.”

Dave Nutter is serving his fourth term as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates. First elected in 2001, he serves on the Committee on Health, Welfare and Institutions; Committee on Militia, Police and Public Safety; and the Committee on Science and Technology. In 2006 he was also appointed to the Joint Commission on Health Care, a joint committee composed of members of the House and Senate that looks at long term issues confronting health policy.
