Christiansburg, VA – The Virginia Society for Human Life Political Action Committee (VSHL PAC) has announced their endorsement of Delegate Dave Nutter in his bid for re-election to the office of Delegate to the Commonwealth of Virginia General Assembly. "I am proud to again have the backing of the leading right-to-life organization in Virginia in my campaign for re-election. As a father of three, my belief in the sanctity of human life has shaped my desire to create opportunities for all of our citizens,” said Nutter "We are grateful for the strong and consistent pro-life voting record you have compiled and the leadership you have demonstrated during your tenure in the House of Delegates." said Holly Smith, Chairman of the VSHL PAC, in a letter announcing the endorsement. Smith continued, "You have shown a commitment to advancing and defending pro-life principles, which has earned you the gratitude and support of voters who are concerned with the right to life and the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family." Dave Nutter is serving his fourth term as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates. First elected in 2001, he serves on the Committee on Health, Welfare and Institutions; Committee on Militia, Police and Public Safety; and the Committee on Science and Technology. In 2006 he was also appointed to the Joint Commission on Health Care, a joint committee composed of members of the House and Senate that looks at long term issues confronting health policy. |
